TOUGH TIMES IN RELATIONSHIPS

A relationship either with the opposite or same sex who is a friend in this case is usually sweet to begin but often times a lot happen as the road gets thinner and these persons get closer. So many questions begin to pop up like;

“Where on earth did I meet him/ her?”

“What was I looking at when I made him/ her friend?”

“Why do he/ she simply derive joy from getting me angry?”

We all have been in one of those kinds of scene where we have to ponder on the qualifications that got us in a relationship with some people in our lives but then I got to tell you that you need to stop asking those questions and begin to see the reasons you made them your friends.

Seriously, I must say that no one has it all and most times we drain our loved ones such that we end up not finding the sap we really desired in them. At this junction only one thing stands and that is LOVE. Yea! LOVE! That is the only light that is unquenchable in any relationship. 

You see, God loved us SO he gave us His dear son. That’s much of a sacrifice you know, but then He let it go because he loves us. We need to begin to see people in our lives as our lovers such that even when all they display are some set of flaws we still have the strength to love them. Love is divine and it is what got you attracted to them. You saw something lovable in them; say beauty, attitude, charisma, career, strength, etc. and you chose to be with them. You’ve got to sacrifice your most desired things to be with these people. Forget their flaws!

Love endures all things because it is divine and so you need to begin to endure all things for these people. They are never going to be the perfect persons you want them to be if you keep expecting them to be perfect but they can grow beyond your expectations if you do not limit them with your own expectations. Stop expecting them to be perfect.

Another fascinating thing love does is to forgive. Love forgives all our inadequacies. He never sees them; he blinds himself to them such that he only sees those attractive things in us. So, you need to learn to forgive. Forgive everyone who has hurt you. Let go of the past and love these people as long as they remain in your life.

Cultivate the love nature.

THE FEAR OF GOD; THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM

Have you ever pondered on how wise you are? have you ever felt you are not wise enough? ok.
Prov 15: 33 (KJV) "The fear of God is the instruction of wisdom."

As I sat in one of my school's lecture theaters thinking of how to get over a problem, that bible verse rang in my ear and my thought moved away from the problem to the bible verse. I shrugged from the thought of it for a while cause I couldn't figure out how it was going to help me solve the problem I had but then, it rang again more clearly and I got it.

If you fear God or maybe I should be more practical; If you fear your dad and you do not like to get on his nerves, what do you do? Well for me, I will do away with everything that can get me close to his nerves not to even talk of getting on it. most times, it would require me to  think deeply to get an answer and in the course of doing that, I get answers to other problems. When I am out of that mood or right in that mood, I try to apply this idea I just got to a problem in  reality and usually, all I see in myself after this solution works out is a wise woman and seriously, that is simply the way it is with God.

Whenever you are being cautious of your ways because of God, you open your heart for deeper revelations of him and the world that gets you feeling fly like a super wise man.

I believe wisdom is not your ability to stand by a big mountain, pushing it with yiour little effort in order to move it away but your ability to get an axe and shove little parts of it away until it is finally gone. You realize that in this way, you are able to move the mountain and at the same time maximise the little stones you turned it to for something more useful.

Fearing God takes you to a realm of deep thinking that makes everyone see you as a wise person whereas you are just a little deep thinker.

That’s it! You are incredible, fruitful, ultimate creature and you are love, a love being, loving… just name whatever has got to do with love.

You are INCREDIBLE, INTELLIGENT or let me combine the two by saying you are INCREDIBLY INTELLIGENT!   That’s sounds awesome right? Yea, that’s what God created. He created an incredible creature, an intelligent one whose intelligence is so incredible that it can’t just be compared with that of other creatures. He made you with such magnificence that no other thing can match with.  Because of your incredibility and intelligence, he made you ruler over all things.   I feel the need to take us to the beginning a little. You see, when god was done with creation, He told Adam to name every living creature and whatever he called them is what they are. That is to show how much you’ve got. OK, let’s look at examples outside the bible. The man who was honored for nomenclature of plants is Carl Von Linnaeus, this guy made use of this same intelligence to further the work which Adam did. He classified plants into groups of different kinds. You can imagine someone grouping almost all this plants into groups. That was quite a big task but he did it and you are expected to operate like that.

You are FRUITFUL! You are expected to yield fruits in all areas of your life not leaving any stone unturned. Stagnancy is not what you were made for, you should yield fruits because you are living1! You don’t have to be pregnant with a baby boy or girl before you yield fruits, you should yield fruits in your career, your attitude should yield fruits.

You are the ULTIMATE CREATURE! The maker took his time to make you, He wasn’t in a rush. He created you last because He knows how special you are. You are precious in His sight. He made you just like Himself, gave you what he’s got and made you chief over all He made before you. He ensured that everything was settled before creating you because He knows you are going to take over duties from Him.

And lastly, you are LOVE! You are LOVE! You are LOVE! God is LOVE! Everything about you should be love. Think love, act love, eat love, drink love and be love! Understand what love is, it is not about you giving out what you’ve got but about inhabiting the love nature in you. Begin to see things in the love light, love yourself enough to acknowledge all that you’ve read so far, love others and ultimately, LOVE GOD!

MY LETTER TO THE LADIES

Hello dear! You haven’t made any mistake opening this page. Your spirit actually wants you to have an idea of what you look like and that’s why you are here. You probably have been thinking what do I even look like? Well, you are in the right place to have your answer.

This is a letter to THE BEAUTIFUL YOU and I will be starting this by defining the acronym, BEAUTIFUL.

I-ncredible

U-ltimate treat

L-oving

You are the BEST creature in the whole of this universe! Nothing can compare to you. No no no, not even one because your creator took time to create you. You aren’t a product of mistake!! I don’t want to know if your parents actually have once told you that you were conceived by their mistake of not using a contraceptive or you’ve probably being rejected in your community that you are beginning to feel like you are worthless and without purpose. Well, right now I want you to change that mindset and see yourself as the BEST!

You are so ELEGANT that I don’t even expect to see an atom of inferiority whatsoever in you.

You are ADORABLE! O M G! What I’m I saying? You are a god on your own, everything you’ve got ought to worship you and not you being a slave to them; talk about money, cars, houses, etc. you should be the master of them all.

You are UNIQUE! Okay let’s do this. Take a look at the person your eyes can spot from head to toe and check if you are the same. Aren’t you fatter/slimmer, taller/shorter than the person? Don’t you possess a bigger eyeball? Common… you are UNIQUE dear.

You are THOUGHTFUL! Gbam! See this… you actually did some kind of thinking before you clicked on this page, huh? So why on earth should someone from nowhere just tell you that you are thoughtless? You aren’t dear. You have the mind of God and so you are thoughtful.

We have seen a bit of the first three letters of our word; BEAUTIFUL and as such my next post is going to complete it. After that we are going to be picking those letters each day and examine their impact in our daily activities.

I just thought I should drop this piece before I go for my exams, the second part of my letter will be released after my exams.

GRACE FOR PERFECTON

GRACE FOR PERFECTION We should study the word and live the life! It’s not about preaching but about demonstrating Christ, enough of the pretense and deceit in the body of Christ. So many of us go to church but yet are nothing but just common participants in listening to the sermon, some other listen and act the word in the church but are some other sort of being once they are out of the church. Whatever category you fall in all I want you to know today is God wants you to be a better man, a perfect man, a man who is Christ-like and not just a church goer, not just someone who acts the word in the church even when his personal, family life is nothing to write home about. God is saying enough of those kind of life. Romans 11: 6 “and if by grace, then is it no more of works; otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace; otherwise work is no more work” this verse is my message to us today. Whatever you are right now, I want you to know that its only grace that can make the better person you want to be. When grace is sufficient, everything goes well. The grace of God is what makes a Christian thirst for perfection, it will make the person to be at the right place at the right time so as to get all the perfection treats he need. For some times now, I have been thirsting for perfection in Christ and you know what? There has been hardly a day when I don’t walk in the direction. Often, it’s not like I do these things at my own decision but the grace makes the Holy Spirit to minister to me at that particular time such that it becomes a strong will and I just have to do it. That is how much the grace can fix things for you when all you have to do is thirst, thirst and thirst and obey his leadings, he will guide you to all truth. The spirit understands your imperfection right now and is ready to make you perfect as long as you want to be. Don’t be surprised if you start to Thirst and you find yourself at some kind of Holy Ghost congress. Well that’s probably where you need to be that moment. He wants to cleanse you and make you that desired perfect man. God craves for your perfection.
