Can't I Just Ignore My Weaknesses?

LOOK UP
"Luke 9:16
And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing over them. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd."
In our daily walk in this world, we encounter challenges of life that test our faith but in all situations we are to look up to God. Jesus looked up when he wanted to multiply the meal. What exactly was he doing? He was simply shifting focus from the people to the one who has the answer knowing that the answer was not in the situation.
At times, our situation pulls us so down that we don't realize there is someone up there. We are so desperate to do something about a situation that could only be resolved by God.
Last week, I so desired and searched for a job because I was tired of the token I was getting from my parents. That idea is not bad but what if instead of searching, I lift up my head, my heart and my voice to God for wisdom on what to do or I look up to him for abundance in the family.
Silver and Gold are only products of the blessing not the blessing itself. They are no reasons to be distracted from God. The blessing of God is what supplies all riches. Our focus must remain God. Our real bank account lies with him.
I am blessed! The blessed call me blessed. I greatly increase, expand and multiply. I do not set my affections on the things beneath, I look up to Christ the seed. He is my Power to increase. When men are limited by the natural, I press on with the supernatural. I AM BLESSED!

That aside, I had just two pieces of fish in my stew and the second question came, "how am I going to feed three people with two pieces of fish?". The food was ready and I served my neighbour with one of the fish pieces and ate mine without fish keeping the remaining one for my guest. Having ate the food, I laid in my bed for some rest and the thought about how to say no when I am not capable of a request came up.
I must confess to you friends that I don't know how to say 'no' and I don't like the fact so I have to think about what to do and here is what I have:
* Focus on what matters most
* Weigh the yes-to-stress ratio
* Take guilt out of the equation
* Sleep on it
How to say no:
* Say no
* Be brief
* Be honest
* Be respectful
* Be ready to repeat.

WHO AM I?
Who you really are is a very crucial matter about life. You need to be able to define yourself since this is the only way you can bring out the best in this self.
A double tragedy in life is; to die without knowing who you really are and to live denying who you really are.
My article today is centred on self image and self esteem which is One of the biggest issues in the life of all of us.
YOU ARE MORE THAN YOU THINK YOU ARE
Self image is how you perceive yourself. It is formed by a number of self impressions that come up over time. This self image can be positive, giving a person confidence in their thought and action or negative, giving them doubts of their abilities and ideas.
Surprisingly and oftentimes, your outward appearance can be a facade but then our self image can determine our approach toward life.
If you have a positive self image, you approach life positively. However, it is important that your self image be not only positive but realistic. Having an unrealistic self image can be a drawback whether the self image be positive or negative.
A negative self image can cause discouragement, failure and a negative thought can also encourage change, hard work, growth and success. Sometimes, having to positive self image can encourage complacency, underachievement and arrogance.
Finding balance between feeling positive about oneself and having realistic goals is important.
Building self esteem is an inside job. Other people, circumstances, performance, success or failure will only allow a good self esteem to elude us.
So, take time to develop a realistic self image and build your self esteem. These are the things that make you up.

THE FEAR OF GOD; THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM
Prov 15: 33 (KJV) "The fear of God is the instruction of wisdom."
As I sat in one of my school's lecture theaters thinking of how to get over a problem, that bible verse rang in my ear and my thought moved away from the problem to the bible verse. I shrugged from the thought of it for a while cause I couldn't figure out how it was going to help me solve the problem I had but then, it rang again more clearly and I got it.
If you fear God or maybe I should be more practical; If you fear your dad and you do not like to get on his nerves, what do you do? Well for me, I will do away with everything that can get me close to his nerves not to even talk of getting on it. most times, it would require me to think deeply to get an answer and in the course of doing that, I get answers to other problems. When I am out of that mood or right in that mood, I try to apply this idea I just got to a problem in reality and usually, all I see in myself after this solution works out is a wise woman and seriously, that is simply the way it is with God.
Whenever you are being cautious of your ways because of God, you open your heart for deeper revelations of him and the world that gets you feeling fly like a super wise man.
I believe wisdom is not your ability to stand by a big mountain, pushing it with yiour little effort in order to move it away but your ability to get an axe and shove little parts of it away until it is finally gone. You realize that in this way, you are able to move the mountain and at the same time maximise the little stones you turned it to for something more useful.
Fearing God takes you to a realm of deep thinking that makes everyone see you as a wise person whereas you are just a little deep thinker.
